Da Weekend Sports Wrap

So it was another eventful sporting weekend that had me smiling for a change.

Lets start with Rugby, all I can say is Go Bokke, for showing the Aussies that we have more than one style of play. I am also happy that the Bulls lost and my beloved Western Province took top spot on the log by beating the all conquering Sharks for the second time this season, woohoo. Big ups to the lions who stunned the bulls, wys hulle wies baas van Gauteng :). The cheetahs have been raking in the big scores of late and it did not stop this week with another hefty victory.

The F1 was marred by a first corner accident that took out the current poins leader Jenson Button and reighning Champion Lewis hamilton. The race was eventually won by da fling Fin Kimi Raikonen with Fisichella a very close second.

On the Soccer front all the major teams had victories with only Arsenal being unlucky to lose to a less than impressive man United. Everton secured their first points with a victory in injury time over Wigan. Chelsea, Tottenham and man City is setting the pace a top the leader board with Liverpool showing some good form after going down to Villa earlier in the week.
